@Tablesalt13 Demand outrunning supply is the core of the crisis - this is what the PPC has been saying for years!
A complete pause on immigration until housing catches up is the obvious first step toward solving this issue.
Will the other parties acknowledge this?

@MarkJCarney Nothing but empty feel-good lines with zero concrete commitments for Alberta.
You and Pierre are both defending the same status quo. Neither of you will tackle the real frustrations and grievances this province has endured for decades.

#Canada and #India share a partnership built on people, culture, and food! From family dinners to takeout nights, butter chicken has become a Canadian favourite and delicious reminder of our cultural ties. What’s your go-to CA-IN food pairing? 🇨🇦🇮🇳
Campus communism is a serious threat that must be dealt with, we can’t let these freaks infiltrate our institutions
Since the winter @NewGenPPC and likeminded students have teamed up to push back against the ideological homogenization of Universities and colleges
Young Canadians (18-35) are increasingly supportive of significant change. They're feeling the strain of mass immigration, a tough job market for new entrants, and the burden of national debt and inflation. They're ready for big shifts. #CanadianPolitics#Economy#YoungVoters
Watch the replay of last night’s 'Lessons Learned from Quebec' featuring Maxime Bernier, Nadine Wellwood and @IsaiasPPC , Recruitment & Outreach Director for New Gen!👇

Some Tim Hortons restaurants were staffed with up to 80% temporary foreign workers. One franchisee went bankrupt and blamed Ottawa for cutting off the cheap labour.
Your teens and seniors needed those jobs. A foreign-owned chain imported the staff. You paid to keep the pipeline running.
Liberals kept it open for their corporate buddies. Pierre ran the program as minister, flipped when it got ugly, and *still* wants direct flights to Amritsar!
Only the PPC said it first and meant it: shut the scam down, send overstays home, hire Canadians first!
Canadians need a voice in Ottawa that will speak honestly about immigration and the many issues surrounding illegal migration…
Learn how we’ll take back control of our system and deliver the reforms Canadians truly deserve👇

The question now is: will any of the establishment parties have the courage to oppose Carney’s plan to increase immigration and call for a moratorium?
Don’t expect them to.
They’ve had years to fix our broken immigration system or at least push for real reform, and they haven’t!
Eight years ago, the establishment said the PPC would disappear.
We’re still here...
Still fighting for Freedom, Responsibility, Fairness and Respect — and still putting Canadians FIRST! 🇨🇦
Race-based hiring is discriminatory and discourages employers from considering individual merit. Our government requires competency, not diversity.
The PPC will abolish all federal DEI initiatives and restore equal treatment under the law. #AbolishDEI
Key government jobs are being prioritized by race.
A report by the Aristotle Foundation for Public Policy finds 42% of federal job postings practice ‘explicit or potential prioritization based on group identity’ https://t.co/HzNAzBFTJb
Today marks the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
We remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, including 24 Canadians. We also remember the first responders who courageously risked their lives on that day.
We will never forget.
@MaximeBernier has been warning about the abuse of our asylum process. The PPC will deport illegals promptly and accept far fewer refugees. The exploitation of our immigration system must end. https://t.co/arHAOIa6q7
As of the most recent Statistics Canada data, there are now 525,479 asylum claimants in this country.
That is the equivalent of the entire population of Halifax. And that's more than three times as much as just four years ago.
Think about that. Over the last four years, Canada has been bringing in an average of 245 new asylum claimants every single day.
And the permanent immigration numbers are just as alarming.
In the first four months of 2026 alone, 83,149 permanent immigrants entered Canada.
At this rate, we're on track for 330,000 new permanent immigrants by the end of the year.
To put that in perspective: throughout the 1990s, Canada averaged 220,000 permanent residents per year. In the 1980s, it was just 107,000.
What's worse, Canada's population of non-permanent residents now stands at 2.6 million; meaning roughly one in every 16 people in Canada is here on a presumably temporary status.
Although this is down from the astronomic numbers under Trudeau, it’s still at historic record levels.
This isn't immigration. It’s an invasion of our social services, our housing, and our Canadian identity.
The People's Party has been saying it for years: we need a complete moratorium on immigration.
We need to turn off the tap. We need to prioritize Canadian families, Canadian workers, and Canadian taxpayers.
The time for half-measures is over. The time for a MORATORIUM is now.
The real travesty is that it took 8 years to deny this family asylum. The Canadian asylum process has been abused for many years due to lenient immigration policies imposed by the Liberals. There are likely thousands of families who need to be deported.
The PPC will stop immigration, deport illegals, and significantly limit the amount of TFWs and international students to save Canadian jobs for Canadians. https://t.co/pQDAxMoj4g
Young Canadians across the country struggled to find part-time jobs this summer, and recent grads are entering a tough market. Unemployment is a major concern for many, and mass immigration is a key reason. Keep our jobs for Canadians! #MoratoriumNow
