The night is upon us for the NEWTS winter meal @NCL_Lifestyle . 33 people (but likely closer to 50 bottles) will be soon arriving, hopefully for a top evening of food & socialising!

Last night was a fascinating tasting of amphora wines 🏺 by @NorthEastWino . Some orange, some natural, some classical, all interesting. Including the very rarely seen grapes Cartoixa Vermell and Castets, amongst many.

Wonderful South African tasting from long-term member Ken tonight, and nary a Pinotage or rubbery-red in sight. The mini-vertical of Kanonkop Estate Cab (2012-14) was superb - the ‘14 was too young, but the 13 and 12 were delightful!
