All the research we've done on #WWI defences in Kent has paid off with a double-page spread in the Kent Messenger about our specially commissioned beacon erected in a unique location on a former gun emplacement in #Newington. @KM_newsroom @KMSittingbourne @KentWW1 #fallen

[NewingtonHistory @NewingtonHG]

Much of this is based on the work of Newington History Group and our commitment to involving the community in #heritage projects and paying tribute to those who lived and died in #WWI Many thanks @Kent_Online for telling the story.

To thank them for their involvement in our #WWI #Fallen project, we presented every pupil in Year 6 @NewingtonCEP with a copy of 'Newington Remembers. It's been amazing working with such a lovely class. Good luck luck to all of them in their new schools.
