Some may trust in words from the horse’s mouth to win the race of life, but we trust in word’s from a dying Man’s bleeding lips who now lives forever, “It is finished!”
The problem of the different listings of the tribes of Israel is resolved by the 12 Apostles seated on the thrones of Israel. Since there are 3 sets of brothers, Apostles will rule tribes from which they were not born. Every born-again Jew (other than in the Church) will be in a
The church is the Bride of Christ and should be birthing spiritual babies, loving and nourishing them with the pure milk of the Word, growing them up into adult believers in the love of Christ, filled with the Spirit for good works in His name.
Paul is the “steward” of this church dispensation and teaches us how to believe correctly about the local church, especially our forever standing as new, sinless individuals in which the Holy Spirit has taken up His eternal residence
The “Great Commission” is for the Millennial Kingdom when millions of Gentiles won to Christ in the Tribulation will need to be discipled in KINGDOM living: “Everything I taught you”.
The “great commission” doesn’t even mention the Gospel once! Time 2 wake up, Church! Many have been duped into trying to disciple believers who really need to be fed the grace truths about their new, sinless natures!
Started in the Spirit, and now mired in wrong teaching!
Is someone blind to Heaven because their need I didn’t see?
Did I miss their lostness, being all caught up in me?
Lord, give me a seeing heart
And help me do my part.
Should be noted Christ defined His earthly ministry as to Israel only. He announced the church as future. Having rejected Christ, Israel is in “time out” while the Church is being formed. Israel will be (1/3) saved at the Second Coming after The Tribulation=Gentile nations

While translating Luke's opening chapter the last couple of mornings, I was once again struck by how "Old Testament-ish" his words and narrative are.
We meet a priest and his wife, who are old and childless but are promised a baby boy, like so many prominent aged couples in the OT.
We meet an angel who appears with a message from God, as happened multiple times in the OT.
The whole opening scene takes place in the temple, in Jerusalem, while incense is being offered.
Multiple OT characters are mentioned by name: Elijah, David, Jacob.
We have not one but two canticles (by Mary and Zechariah) that sound like they could be Psalms 151 and 152.
Repeatedly, reference is made to God making good on his promises and oaths to the patriarchs, as well as to David, to remember his mercy and do what he spoke by the mouth of the prophets.
Luke 1, in other words, has one foot in the OT and one foot in the NT. It is purposefully designed to show that what is happening is *not* a new story but the continuation and fulfillment of the old, old story of God bringing to Israel--and through Israel to the nations--the fulfillment of salvation in his Son, the Anointed of God.
@SenTedCruz We still have slavery...it's call being a tax payer. While we struggle to ends meet, our government gives billions of dollars to other countries.
