We are preparing our owl sculptures for exhibiting @HolmfirthARTS. The River of Art trail is a community, co-created, art trail along the River Holme in Holmfirth. It begins the weekend of 12th to 14th June 2026. Take a walk along the river to see how many artworks you can spot.
We are delighted that our wolf is now sitting in the Holme River. A fabulous day to set up the River of Art for the @HolmfirthARTS festival. 13-16 June 2025. Explore the trail and visit the Ulf’s dale Wolf. https://t.co/CdUEVN4Q6v #WolfofTime#Wolf#floW

We are currently upcycling an old tile pallet into a workstation. We are making it safe by removing nails & screws and sanding down surfaces. Planks have been measured and cut to make a surface for our recycled outdoor table. #WorkInProgress#NMJSForestSchool#HealthAndWellbeing
Today at Forest School we made orange cake; baked in a dutch oven over an open fire. We scooped out oranges and placed cake mixture in the centre. We rounded off our culinary session, sampling obligatory S’mores…delicious! #NMJSForestSchool#LearningOutdoors#HealthAndWellbeing
It was an incredibly busy day with the Little Legends Forest School Holiday Club today: climbing on the slackline; building awesome dens, making carrot whistles & toasting marshmallows on the campfire to make delicious S’mores. Thankyou to everyone for a fun day! #OutsideAllDay
Our wild space is looking amazing at the moment, full of lush green Wild Garlic. We are looking forward to spending more time in our woodland this spring. #NMJSForestSchool
Earlier today, Year 3 pupils took to the pavements to create some wonderfully, colourful street art. Some pupils lounged on picnic blankets to reflect, while others decided to whittle away the afternoon. #NMJSForestSchool#HealthAndWellbeing#Nurture
After salvaging a pallet, from the construction of our new perimeter fence, we have made a sawhorse for cutting wood on our Forest School site. We are excited to now own such an essential piece of crafting equipment. #recycling#repurposing#NMJSForestSchool
We plucked up courage to work in teams for a Big Egg Drop challenge. An egg was given to each group: they devised ways of protecting it from a large fall. Two completely different approaches to this eggciting challenge. #NMJSForestSchool#nurture#healthwellbeing#teamwork
Today, in our wild space, Year 3 pupils discovered these delicate nests. They were found on the ground, with strange and exotic eggs inside. We are excited for them to hatch this spring. #ForestSchool#OutdoorLearning#Easter#NMJSForestSchool
We practiced igniting tinder with magnesium rods & steel today, testing our patience and resolve. We also created and decorated an Easter display for our school entrance. #ForestSchool#healthwellbeing#nurture#NMJSForestSchool
