@dieworkwear and there's this one from the floor of the Convention in Chicago this summer . . . would be perfect but for the lanyard holding his credentials.
You'll hear from members who’ve been working on registering voters in Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and learn about the impact we can have in the national races. Come do some socializing and get geared up for this consequential election!
Join the NDCC on October 15th, 5:00 – 6:00, at Stoneacre Brasserie, 28 Washington Square, and be an informed voter!
We’ll also discuss ways to get involved in the final stretch of the campaign. If you want to do something to help elect Democrats in swing states, come!
October 15: GET READY TO VOTE – COME LEARN ABOUT BALLOT QUESTIONS!
Early voting begins October 16th!
Newport Democrats are hosting an informal presentation on the ballot questions facing us this year, with everything from holding a constitutional convention, to funding the arts.
We’ll write some letters on Tuesday afternoon at Stoneacre, and learn about the impact we all can have in the national races to help Get Out the Vote. Come do some socializing and prepare yourself to watch the Vance-Walz debate later that night (9 pm).
We’ll explain the different campaigns we’ve worked on to identify and register voters in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and others. Our Newport members have experience in postcard writing, phone banking and even door-to-door canvasing in swing states.
OCTOBER 1ST IS FIVE WEEKS TO THE ELECTION!
If you feel the need to do something to help elect Democrats in swing states, join the Newport Democratic Committee on October 1st, 4:30 – 6:00, at Stoneacre Brasserie, 28 Washington Square.
From his working class upbringing to his experience in top government positions to the work he’s now doing every day, Gabe Amo is who we need to continue to deliver for Newport.
The NDCC is proud to endorse Congressman Amo to serve as our voice in Washington. He’s worked hard for resources for our Cliff Walk while promoting climate resilience, and jobs in local industries.
NDCC enthusiastically endorses Senator Whitehouse. Always forward-looking and solution oriented, he works tirelessly to leave a safer planet to our children and grandchildren. He’s a champion for middle class families, protecting Social Security and Medicare.
The Newport Democratic City Committee is happy to see the results of the primary election! Congratulations, Gabe! We’re ready for CD-1 to unite behind Gabe Amo - he’ll represent us well in Washington because he understands Newport’s particular issues and priorities.
Super excited to be headed to the @NewportDems meeting tomorrow night to present about #RankedChoiceVoting! We’ll also be facilitating an #RCV vote for the Committee to choose which #CD1 candidate to endorse.
We’ll come to your groups meeting, too! Shoot us a DM.
Art is essential. Not only does it unify communities but it also strengthens our local economies.
I invite you all to visit the Umbrella Sky Newport installation this summer!
