There’s just something special about small-town America. 🇺🇸
As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we’re highlighting places that capture the spirit of our country, and Edenton, North Carolina, is one of them. Rich in history, full of charm and surrounded by beautiful water, it’s the kind of town that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

🎣 Fish Care Minute with NewPro
Fish Care Misconception #2
"Warm water always contains less dissolved oxygen."
Not always.
As the sun rises:
🌿 Plants begin producing oxygen.
🌬️ Wind increases oxygen transfer into the water.
By afternoon, many lakes reach their highest dissolved oxygen levels—and may even become supersaturated.
Don't fear adding fresh lake water during the day. Done gradually, it can actually benefit your fish.
Because oxygen is consumed all night while photosynthesis has stopped.
Cool water ≠ high oxygen.
Run your aerators and install the V-T2 vents to saturate your livewell on your morning run!

Fish Care Myth:
"Cooler water always contains more oxygen."
Not necessarily.
A better statement is:
💧 Cooler water has the potential to hold more dissolved oxygen.
In fact, lakes and reservoirs experience their LOWEST dissolved oxygen levels just before sunrise.
If it's too hot for you, what's it like inside your livewell?
Warm water means:
⬇️ Less oxygen
⬆️ More fish stress
⬆️ More harmful metabolic gases
The V-T2 Livewell Ventilation System helps promote air exchange, release harmful gases, and support healthier livewell conditions.

Ever see the Buckeye Bubbler Blade?? Basically a buzzbait with a different sound – that plopper sound for when you can't get a treble-hooked bait where you know fish want that sound. That + a lot more in today's BassBlaster email (sign up!) ➡️ https://t.co/pgwz9pbQk1

Went out to do a little sunset bank fishing. Ended up getting several hits on a wacky rig, landing three; a mini bass, 16" bass and racer pickerel and kept trying until the bugs were biting better than the fish ;)

Quick stop while out running errands and I managed to connect with a couple bass this one being the larger of the two. Also checked in on a couple off loons while were out and they thanked us with a little loon call serenade :)
