The last daily Evening Standard went to print today.
I’ll be hanging around for a few more weeks but the new look Standard will do just fine without an Arts Correspondent.
It’s been an honour and a total delight for most of my almost decade in the job and I’ll miss it.

Apparently there is a new version of Cape Fear coming out? That’s a remake of a remake of the original.
I could swear some new books have been published since John D MacDonald wrote it in 1957!
