A fairly accurate criticism of O’Toole that rings completely hollow because you are a government TD. O’Connor has backed the existing system to the hilt in every single vote in your political career because he is a spineless coward who moonlights as some “outsider”
For as long as I remember, Fintan O’Toole has been on the attack about TDs. It is such a shame the paper who publishes his writing almost always back the existing system to the hilt. Never profiling those who have a different view unless of course it’s Miriam Lord’s sketch belittling them.
Usual set of facile liberal cliches from O’Toole. You can disagree or not with Sinn Féin’s vote on Ukraine aid but he doesn’t even recognise its stated position, that it supports aid but not within a framework and logic of obviously futile escalation
An end to the forever wars? Forget about it
In the last 6 months alone US war planes have left the skies burning in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Nigeria, and now Venezuela
Meanwhile, the US proxy continues to bleed Palestine
This isn’t security; it’s domination
US assault against Venezuela has serious repercussions for the primacy of international law and multilateral system – @DeclanKearneySF

Starting to feel a bit more like Christmas now! 🎄🎅🏻❄️
Finally got to visit Newry’s Christmas Market and got the tree up.
The market’s well worth a visit. A great initiative with some brilliant local traders.
Heather says the people must be united before the country is. This is a trump card for unionism. All they have to do is sow division to delay a UI.
Heather is taking a unionist position, not a United Ireland one.
All charges have been dropped against Kneecap’s Mo Chara.
I strongly welcome this decision.
These charges were part of a calculated attempt to silence those who stand up and speak out against the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Kneecap have used their platform on stages across the world to expose this genocide, and it is the responsibility of all of us to continue speaking out and standing against injustice in Palestine.
The political establishment is running scared of a woman who largely agrees with their approach to running the country, but attends Latin mass and thinks gays shouldn't be allowed to get married. Simply too dangerous. Too subversive
