@Kryptotajeer I mean Jesus did say "Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was."
Pretty strange thing for a not God but normal human to say π€·
So when Jesus says He existed before the world and shared Glory with the Father, He's not claiming those things?
"Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was."
What a strange thing for someone who didn't preexist to say... π€·
@IjazTheTrini@cryptojay02 And why is the time gap even an issue? Wasn't the Quran revealed over 2 decades? So why is it only presented as a problem for Christians and not yours?
John's Gospel does not omit clear claims to deity. John starts his gospel by proclaiming in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the word was God ... and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
You also have Jesus claiming:
"Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was."
No human can make that statement.
@dawahxdialogues So Allah allowed all his previous revelation to get corrupted and then is like - trust me bro, this time it won't get corrupted... π€‘
@KhalilAndani Show me where Jesus claims to be God!
shown where Jesus claims to be God
No, not there! I don't accept that book! Show me somewhere else in the Bible! π
@BeMuslimNow If you saw me praying to a rock, kissing a rock and that the rock can absorb sins you'd say I'm guilty of idolatry - but because Moahmmed did it, somehow it becomes not an idol
@MasterMaliq How do you reform Islam? Reformation usually means go back to the start but going back to the start of Islam puts you back into exactly what you say is wrong with Islam...
You mock the idea that God would be flogged and crucified because you donβt understand the nature of Godβs love.
God doesnβt stay distant and demand we climb up to Him. He comes down. The cross is not weakness, it is the ultimate demonstration of love.
A God who only commands from a distance is easy to invent. A God who loves enough to suffer for His enemies is something else entirely. Thatβs why we donβt flinch when we say He was crucified. The flogging and the cross are the cost of that love.
@MasterMaliq What about Asma bint Marwan - the poet who wrote some poetry Mohammed didn't like so he had one of his thugs kill her. Her stabbed her through the chest while she was nursing her infant. Mohammed then praised the killer. Evil man.
@MasterMaliq Something isn't moral because it's legal. A grown man having sex with a 9 year old child is immoral no matter the time, no matter the culture.
@Kryptotajeer You mean like Uthman burning all the different Qurans? Mohammed instructed people to learn the Quran from Ibn Masood and yet Uthman burned his copy - that doesn't sound like perfect preservation π€·
