Adding finishing touches to our game "Harm To Table" for @CGIARclimate! We have spent the last 9 weeks working hard to develop this game from a concept to a tangible product! Lots of learning, & fun along the way! Pictured is our title screen! #SustainabilityGameJam@GameJam20
Great day play-testing our game "Harm To Table" yesterday at the Pathways to Sustainability Conference 2020: Accelerating the Transformation! Excellent feedback from the conference participants, who happen to be sustainability experts - very useful for the content! #UUpathways
Finishing up another week of working on our game "Harm To Table" for @CGIARclimate through the @GameJam20 course! Lots of play-testing this week, discovering bugs, new ideas, and testing if the applied learning is effective! More dynamics, feedbacks, and interactions to follow!
Our students are ready for you to come play their game prototypes at #UUPathways ! Come see us at @TiVre_Utrecht plein 6! Pass it on! @UUCopernicus @UUGeo@HKUtrecht
More images of our constantly developing game, which has grown immensely since the #SustainabilityGameJam! @GameJam20 - responsible #consumption, #Biodiversity loss & #water stress management, & #gender discrimination are some of the key issues we are exploring in this game!
Incredible progress on our game "Harm To Table" for @CGIARclimate! Every week our design, interactions, and user interface becomes more refined and dynamic. We are working really hard to make the game both fun and educational! @GameJam20
Adding flavour to our game "Harm To Table" for @CGIARclimate! After each round, a news flash will occur that links decisions made in the game to climate change feedback events! Seen below is news of a crop fail feedback that occurs if too much bee habitat is destroyed. @GameJam20
Making progress in the #SustainabilityGameJam for our client @CGIARclimate! Concepts are more defined, as are actions, interactions, and feedbacks both within and between systems. @GameJam20 - excited to continue developing this game over the next 6 weeks!
Great progress today for the #SustainabilityGameJam! See below a working model of the actions for our female farmer character! Next step - link this to the climate change and consumer feedbacks in our game. "Harm To Table" is starting to become more and more systems integrated!
@GameJam20 Our digital prototype which is still in a very early stage was tested by the other teams! Most critical point of feedback was the movement, it should feel more like the character you're playing. For now we should keep on building so we can show you some cool stuff tomorrow!
@GameJam20 Done with playtests of our first prototype! The most important takeaway is that people will choose for themselves when buying "(un)ethical products". We could improve on the game by adding more gameplay and influence for both sides instead of waiting on each other.
