Chapter of the Food Recovery Network at Drake U. Student volunteers deliver food three times a week to five different locations in DSM. Message us for info!
We raised over 835 pounds of food and other items in the end-of-semester collection drive! (A rough estimate, which doesn’t even include all the items). Way to make an impact, Drake students!
Recipients of your donations are the Little Free Pantries in the area and @IMPACT_CAP !
We stocked a few more pantries today! Great work with all the donations. We’re short on volunteers, so please consider signing up via the link in our Instagram bio.
While we have a lot of donations, getting the food where it needs to go is more difficult with our current lack of volunteers. Please sign up at the link in this thread!
We have stocked 6 pantries so far, and there are many more donations to be delivered! Thank you for your efforts to combat food insecurity in our community. If anyone needs a meal, stop by one of the pantries listed below.
