Jelly Roll says he’s done letting people put a political label on him.
“Before this week everybody thought I was MAGA. And now they think I’m some sort of liberal snowflake.”
After facing backlash over political jokes, the country star says attending the UFC event at the White House doesn’t mean he supports everything the administration does, just as hosting a late-night show doesn’t mean he shares all of its host’s politics.
Jelly Roll, who regained his right to vote after receiving a pardon in 2025, says he plans to cast a ballot this November while pushing a broader message: “Human dignity isn’t Republican nor Democrat.”
