I received a phone call from the President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump, who extended his congratulations on the occasion of my official designation to form the new government. President Trump also extended a formal invitation to visit Washington following the formation of the new Iraqi government.

We discussed the strategic bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States and ways to develop and enhance them across various fields. We also affirmed the importance of joint action and bilateral cooperation to reinforce stability in the region.

(Reuters) - Some oil-loading operations have been suspended in the United Arab Emirates' Fujairah emirate, a major bunkering hub and crude export terminal, after a drone attack and fire on Saturday, industry and trade sources said.

The suspension comes hours after the U.S. attacked military targets on Iran's Kharg Island oil export terminal and Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) responded by saying that U.S. interests in the UAE - including ports, docks and military locations - were legitimate targets.

Today we reached a historic agreement under which the Federal Ministry of Oil will receive crude oil produced from the fields in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and export it through the Iraq–Türkiye pipeline. This ensures fair distribution of wealth, diversification of export outlets, and encouragement of investment. An achievement 18 years in the making.
