I was honored to speak at the annual Navajo Housing Authority Service Awards. Housing isn’t a partisan issue. We need to invest in housing organizations to expand access for all Arizonans. I will continue supporting commonsense solutions. Congratulations to those awarded tonight!
It was inspiring to see the people of Kearny, AZ, come together to support their neighbors at a donation drive today. While Washington cuts healthcare and vital programs, these communities are stepping up. In Congress, I'll fight so rural communities get the support they deserve.
I visited the F.O.R. Maricopa Food Center today to learn about food insecurity and lend a hand. I'm grateful for their vital work. Programs like SNAP aren't handouts — they're hand-UPs helping families put food on the table. In Congress, I'll fight to reverse harmful SNAP cuts.
Today, Phefelia and I spoke with young voters about their concerns with today’s political climate. Their perspectives were thoughtful and deserve to be heard. It’s essential that our elected officials ensure young voices help shape policies that impact their future. #warriorup
Arizona, we are just 100 days from Election Day! Let’s all WARRIOR UP and make a plan to vote so we elect common sense leaders who will make a change! For more information on how to vote, please visit https://t.co/zwFumxhyiR.
Last night, I spent time speaking with Latino voters about their concerns and hopes for this year’s midterm election. This campaign season, we are strengthening connections with Arizona voters!
Our first day of the general election was spent giving back alongside the Flagstaff Family Food Center. Campaigns are about serving people, not just asking for their vote. Let’s keep showing up for our communities any way that we can!
Proud to announce I am the official Democratic nominee for Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District! Phefelia and I thank you, Arizona, for voting in the primary election today! Tomorrow the general election begins and I hope we are all ready to Warrior Up as we push toward November!
From Flagstaff to Holbrook to Window Rock, I am meeting with voters across Arizona 2 to hear their voices on Primary Day. Make sure to cast your ballot today, and stay safe with all the monsoon rain! Polls close at 7pm!
Out on the campaign trail as I meet with local voters in Winslow, Holbrook, and Sanders. I meet people where they’re at because Arizona politicians should be listening to their constituents. Make sure to make a plan to vote in today’s primary before polls close!
It was great connecting with local voters in Cottonwood and hearing directly about the issues that matter most to them. I’m always grateful for the opportunity to be back in Yavapai County, listening and working together for a stronger Arizona.
It was an honor to celebrate alongside tribal leaders from across Arizona as we recognized the 22 Native American Tribes of our state through a night dedicated to honoring Indigenous cultures and the deep roots of basketball in Native communities. Go Mercury!
Today was great meeting with mayors from across the Verde Valley to discuss the issues facing their communities. Rural Arizona deserves to be heard, and I’ll continue working to ensure all communities of AZ02 are never overlooked.
Their commitment to healthier futures give us hope for the next generation.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible and for your continued commitment to keeping our schools and communities healthy.
Phefelia and I were honored to give the opening remarks at the Air Is Life Youth Conference.
It was inspiring to see so many young people engaged in conversations about preventing tobacco and vaping use in our schools and communities.
