The death of their fellow doctor Dr. Rajneesh Yadav has forced over 450 residents to go on strike for the first time, shutting down the OPD. This is not a small issue.

Toxic work culture, the “no shift” system, and continuous administrative neglect have pushed them to the edge.

Congratulations Doc. From AIR 465 in INI → AIIMS Jodhpur Ortho → suffered severe toxicity & “no shift” culture → got pyelonephritis → quit while admitted in hospital → only 3-4 weeks of study in August → AIR under 3k in NEET PG.

This is pure resilience. You didn’t just crack the exam, you survived a toxic system.

AIIMS Jodhpur urgently needs to change this culture. No postgraduate should have to destroy their health because of “no shift” and toxic work environment.

9 दिनों से धरने पर बैठे FMG इंटर्न्स, 6 डॉक्टरों ने शुरू की भूख हड़ताल

राजस्थान में FMG इंटर्न्स अपने लंबित इंटर्नशिप स्टाइपेंड की मांग को लेकर पिछले 9 दिनों से जयपुर स्थित DME कार्यालय के बाहर शांतिपूर्ण धरने पर बैठे हैं। उनका कहना है कि माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट एवं नेशनल मेडिकल कमीशन (NMC) के निर्देशों के बावजूद अब तक उनके स्टाइपें�� का भुगतान नहीं किया गया है।
लगातार अनदेखी और कोई ठोस समाधान नहीं मिलने के बाद आज 6 डॉक्टरों, जिनमें 1 महिला और 5 पुरुष शामिल हैं, ने भूख हड़ताल शुरू कर दी है।

ये युवा डॉक्टर सरकारी अस्पतालों में इंटर्नशिप के दौरान मरीजों की सेवा कर रहे हैं और अपने लंबित स्टाइपेंड के भुगतान की मांग कर रहे हैं।

सवाल यह है कि मरीजों की सेवा में जुटे इन युवा डॉक्टरों की मांगों का समाधान कब होगा?

आज राजस्थान फॉरेन मेडिकल ग्रेजुएट्स सोसाइटी से जुड़े युवा डॉक्टर्स से मुलाकात कर प्रदेश में FMG इंटर्न्स को मिल रही असमानता और स्टाइपेंड से जुड़ी समस्याओं को लेकर ज्ञापन सौंपा।

विदेश से मेडिकल शिक्षा प्राप्त कर लौटे ये युवा डॉक्टर भी हमारे देश के नागरिक हैं, और भारतीय मेडिकल ग्रेजुए��्स (IMG) के समान अस्पतालों में पूरी मेहनत और समर्पण के साथ अपनी सेवाएं दे रहे हैं। ऐसे में स्टाइपेंड के मामले में उनके साथ भेदभाव पूरी तरह अनुचित है।

NMC के दिशानिर्देशों और सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेशों के अनुरूप FMG इंटर्न्स को समान स्टाइपेंड और उनके बकाया भुगतान का अधिकार मिलना चाहिए।

सरकार को इन युवा डॉक्टर्स से संवाद कर इनकी जायज़ मांगों पर "समान काम, समान अधिकार" सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए।

A doctor walked into OT to save lives.
The system he served left him fighting for his own.

Dr. Vivek Jangra, General Surgery resident at ESIC Faridabad, collapsed after crushing duty hours and extreme stress. Intracranial bleed. Then alleged delays at every step — shifting, scans, specialists, ambulance, even basic equipment. Colleagues say facilities existed. Action did not. His condition progressed to quadriplegia. He is now intubated and on a ventilator.

A cervical collar had to be ordered on Blinkit because the hospital did not have one when it was needed. That is not a lapse. That is a disgrace.

A hospital that cannot protect its own doctor in an emergency has no right to call itself a place of care. This is not “unfortunate.” This is alleged institutional failure.

We Stand with Dr. Vivek Jangra.
Demand a public, time-bound inquiry.
Hold those responsible accountable.
No more silence. No more cover-ups.

A Doctor went to the OT to serve patients.
Today, he is fighting for his own life.

Dr. Vivek Jangra, an in-service General Surgery resident at ESIC Faridabad, reportedly suffered a serious intracranial bleed after prolonged duty and extreme stress.

His colleagues allege delays in emergency management despite specialist facilities being available.
His condition reportedly progressed to quadriplegia. He is now intubated and on ventilator support.
The allegations of delays in shifting, investigations, essential equipment, ambulance arrangements and specialist consultation are deeply disturbing.
Reportedly, even a cervical collar had to be arranged through Blinkit because it was not available when urgently needed.

A hospital should be the safest place for a doctor or any common person in an emergency.

“Deepest sorrow” and “full support” after a 31-year-old resident dies on duty in your own OT restroom?

Spare us the template condolences. A young doctor injects himself and dies while working under your roof, and your first response is a carefully worded PR note that says nothing about working conditions, duty hours, mental health support, or institutional accountability.
Police investigation is not a substitute for answering why yet another resident reached that point inside AIIMS.

Empty words don’t bring Dr. Rajnaresh Yadav back. Fix the system that keeps killing its own doctors — or stop pretending you care.
