For the past two weeks, I've been targeted in an extremely thorough social engineering scam that nearly cost me all of my ETH. I'm super lucky to have made it through unscathed. Here's the story 👇
Random on-chain is awesome, but ETH gas fees are just too high to process the random function. So everyone is stuck with Reveal as it's cheaper... #NFTCommunity#NFTs $ETH
We could also use token sales as a parameter to track the popularity and probability if NFT PFP will sell out, is ERC20 sells out then the NFT will sell out (as value is connected to ERC20 token and NFT are just end result)
An idea to stop gas wars on $ETH: Mint 10k ERC20 tokens and sell them for NFT base price (lets say 0.1ETH), then mint 1 #NFT for 1 ERC20 token. That way token holders can take their time and wait for nice gas to mint, there is no rush #hategaswars#nfts#NFTCommunity
That way we can even use this new ERC20 token for whitelisting, and the community can even trade their hard-earned whitelist spots. This way there is a value for each step of the way.
