@CptChristophe@ZssBecker Specifically Norway found very large oil reserves and then nationalised the industry with all profits being reinvested into a national trust fund, this fund then pays for socialist policy. Norway is living off dividends while other countries run up credit card debts.
Currency is no longer 1 size fits all and the more the merrier. It is a free market where actors choose a currency based on its features and drawbacks. The market for currency has become decentralised, even if some of them straddle the line.
Thinking on the 'decentralisation spectrum'. On one end we have the virgin birth of Bitcoin, a chunky blockchain protocol with a politically motivated community dedicated to security & remaining decentralised over speed and product updates.

So sure, a particular chain may or may not be 100% decentralised. In doing so it may be better so for large scale, compute-heavy applications like crypto gaming, but less stable stores of the long term value. Maybe it's a point solution, not a widely applicable coin. It'
Bonus / On a darker note, it��s a recognition that those opposed to crypto are powerful, don’t play fair and would like to quash this industry/movement. How can you stop that? Build better infrastructure to allow for a greater inflow of resources into the ‘good side’.
