A user just lost 14,646 XRP (~$16.8K) to a payment request attack.

The bait: Promise of 10% monthly rewards, a memo reading "Safe XRPL verify message." Memos are attacker-written, so "Safe" means nothing.

We already had this address flagged on our new API endpoint. Any wallet integrated with it warns users before they sign preventing the loss.

Always double check what you're signing.
