How is Ten different from other L2s?
Ten is a general-purpose Layer 2 solution for Ethereum, combining the strengths of Optimistic and ZK-Rollups. Like Optimistic Rollups, it supports deploying or redeploying Ethereum Dapps, offering significant gas savings and faster transactions, but with the trade-off of longer withdrawal times and typical centralization.
ZK-Rollups, while eliminating withdrawal delays, lack general-purpose functionality. Unlike existing rollup solutions, which are centralized, Ten is fully decentralized by design. It also provides built-in data confidentiality (e.g., private balances and transactions) and MEV prevention, positioning it as an optimal balance between Optimistic and ZK-Rollup benefits.
