🇺🇬 ❤️ FROM U.G. WITH LOVE ❤️ 🇺🇬

A couple from East Africa — Uganda 🇺🇬 — decided to come to Zambia 🇿🇲 for the very first time.

I can't tell you a lie… it has taken us some time to share this one.

Sometimes you take a gamble on yourself, knowing very well that the pendulum can swing either way and decide to embarrass you completely. 😂

So when things actually start moving in the right direction, the gratitude is something else.

This lovely couple came to Zambia to celebrate their Anniversary. ❤️

When we spoke, I asked the gentleman:

“Why us?”

He calmly replied:

“I love water, and if possible, I want to see the Zambezi River when we come.”

I thought…

“Okay… water? Zambezi? You have come to the right people!” 😂

What he didn't know was that he had just handed himself over to the Bushman. 😂😂

We picked them up at KKIA, drove them out of Lusaka and settled them into our little self-catering waterfront studio apartment on the Kafue River.

The following morning, breakfast was on the Kafue.

Then the Bushman said:

“Right… let's go.” 😂

Next stop — Lower Zambezi!

Lunch ✔️
Boat ride ✔️
Game viewing ✔️
Water ✔️
Happy anniversary couple ✔️

But we weren't done.

After lunch, we headed for Siavonga and Lake Kariba, crossed over to the Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 side, and by 19:00 hrs…

Guess where we were?

BACK ON THE KAFUE RIVER HAVING SUPPER! 😂😂

At this point, I think the gentleman finally realised that when you ask the Bushman to show you some water…

YOU BETTER BE READY TO SEE WATER! 🤣

Uganda 🇺🇬 → Kafue 🇿🇲 → Lower Zambezi 🇿🇲 → Lake Kariba 🇿🇲 → Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 → back to Kafue 🇿🇲…

All in a day!

Now that's what I call an anniversary itinerary. 😂❤️
