My favorite mental model: “The word impossible is not in the leaders' dictionaries.
No matter how big the challenges, strong faith, determination and resolve will overcome them."
H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makioum
Note: This is not a guarantee that everything you wish for in life will come true, but a great mindset that expands what’s possible

Today at Gabiro Combat Training Center, President Kagame, Commander-in-Chief of the Rwanda Defence Force, addressed over 6000 officers and other ranks from the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), the Rwanda National Police (RNP), and the Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS) as officers concluded their military career courses.
"Our history has taught us many lessons that we must build upon. Many of them involve pain and difficult times. But even with those hard moments, despite the many challenges our country and our people have faced, the most important part is that Rwanda did not disappear.
From the lessons that our history teaches us, and from what we have learned from what happens in different parts of the world, we see there are some people who want to act as if they created other people. But that is not true.
This means that we, as a people, decide for ourselves, we choose what is right for us, and we work to provide for ourselves. And even if the things that help sustain us may not be complete, and may be supported by help from elsewhere, they must add to what we already have; they do not replace what is ours. They do not strip you of the rights you inherently possess. You are who you are, a Rwandan from Rwanda. The help we receive should add to what we already have. You might express gratitude to whoever provided that support, but this does not give them the right to behave as though they created you. That must never happen." “I think President Kagame is no longer a great leader of Rwanda, he is a great leader of Africa and he is a great statesman in the world of today.”

We need to be careful with media, imperialist use media to manipulate Africans, see how the Western Media have tried to tarnish Rwanda’s image with false information, but they will not win.
Captain Ibrahim Traoré
“If the blame game, nice speeches, lies, being shameless, were the solution to this problem, it would have ended long ago. We wouldn’t have this problem. We have people who tell lies without any reason.
How can FDLR not exist in the minds of some people? Or why is it something that is supposed to be trivialized? When you trivialize that; you trivialize my history and I am not going to accept it. It doesn’t matter who you are.
I am not seeking any favor from anybody in this room to be given permission for me to live or for my people to live? Absolutely not. I will live by the fact that it is my right. Just that.
So, when I am listening to some people saying these things; when does Congo take responsibility for its own mess? How does Congo think all their problems come from outside, and therefore they outsource solutions for their problems? Rwanda has nothing to do with Congo’s problems. We have our own problems to deal with. Congo is too big for Rwanda to carry on its back.
As I told you, we are a small country, we are a poor country, but when it comes to the right to live, don’t you be mistaken. I am not begging, I will not beg anyone.” President Kagame | AU Peace and Security Council Meeting on the security situation in Eastern DRC.

Happy Heroes Day! Today, we honour our national heroes who upheld the very values of unity, truth, and justice that define our country today. It is the responsibility of all of us, young and old, to face challenges with fearlessness and integrity, to stand up for what is right and to continue building a nation that defies all expectations.
