“Despite its mandate and despite the fact that it has been granted millions of taxpayer dollars to examine the root causes of the Palestinian conflict, this commission still refuses to address the elephant in the room, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.”
@AnneHerzberg14 at the 62nd Session of the @UN_HRC, on the Commission of Inquiry and its failure to investigate the driving force of instability in the region: the Iranian regime and its Revolutionary Guard Corps.
ONE OF MANY HAMAS-LINKED NGO CLOSES GAZA OFFICE
Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor announced it is shutting down its Gaza office after nearly 15 years.
The group blames Israel.
But the closure comes after growing scrutiny of its alleged Hamas ties, an Israeli government report, and a European terror-financing case tied to its founder’s network.
For years, major media outlets cited Euro-Med as a “human rights” source.
Now the question is simple:
How many Hamas-linked influence operations were laundered into Western media as neutral NGO reporting?
Even the anti-Israel umbrella org FIDH, where Rhali served as one of its vice-presidents, reportedly asked him to step down and stop speaking on its behalf following controversy over posts expressing support for Hezbollah and references to Hassan Nasrallah.
By amplifying a PHM-led campaign to boycott Israel’s medical association, @TheLancet is laundering extremist politics through the language of medicine.
.@TheLancet is supposed to be a medical journal.
Instead, it once again gave space to an anti-Israel political campaign, this time calling for a boycott of the Israeli Medical Association.
The absurdity lies not only in platforming such a cause, but in who’s behind the campaign. 🧵>>
On October 7, 2023, as Hamas was carrying out its massacres in Israel, Rhali posted a photo holding a sign declaring “Permanent and Unconditional Support for the Palestinian Resistance” and the “Battle of the Al Aqsa Flood.”
His caption: “Victory Day.”
“Their actions go far beyond any definition of peaceful protest. It is no surprise that those defending the group and decrying the court decision are also some of the loudest voices promoting antisemitic rhetoric and apologizing for the terrorism of Hamas and Hezbollah.”
NGO Monitor Legal Advisor @AnneHerzberg14 discussed the UK Court of Appeal’s decision to uphold the proscription of Palestine Action under the Terrorism Act 2000 with @TheMediaLine.

The UK Court of Appeal has ruled that the government's designation of Palestine Action as a terrorist organization is lawful, overturning a previous High Court decision.

Again @TheLancet medical journal published pseudo-scientific Palestinian propaganda, dressed up with graphs, meaningless algorithms & fake data from Hamas/Palestinian sources, UN agencies that parrot Hamas etal, and "Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor" - a notorius Hamas-run NGO (https://t.co/0Gl2robRTN). The Court of Appeal’s ruling is a necessary recognition of the reality: Palestine Action is not “peaceful political protest”.

The UK Court of Appeal’s decision to uphold the government’s proscription of Palestine Action recognized what NGO Monitor has long documented: Palestine Action’s campaign is built on causing damage, sabotage, intimidation, and extremist rhetoric. 🧵 >>

In 2025, Palestine Action activists broke into a UK airbase and damaged military planes at a critical time for Western security and defense.
This kind of action is straight out of the “Underground Manual” they published, encouraging and giving step-by-step instructions on how people can take illegal actions and evade the law. >>
This case may point to a broader phenomenon. Despite U.S. sanctions and an Israeli terror designation, the Al-Haq network appears to have maintained a European presence through rebranding, organizational restructuring, and overlapping leadership networks. Are other designated organizations doing the same? European regulators, donors, and policymakers should pay closer attention.

Is a 🇺🇸-sanctioned NGO, designated as a terrorist organization by 🇮🇱, attempting to use 🇧🇪’s registration system to circumvent scrutiny? NGO Monitor has traced a four-year effort by the PFLP-linked Al-Haq to establish itself in Europe in the shadow of sanctions imposed by both Israel and the United States.
Here's how it happened:
The rebrand did not create a clear separation between the organizations. EU transparency records continued to identify Rights Matter as Al-Haq Europe, while European Parliament events in 2026 featured representatives identified as "Al Haq - Rights Matter."
