Loads of sore heads on the walk this morning in Broughty Ferry. We even caught a game of football.

We are disappointed to announce we have been rejected for the HMP Glasgow support fund.For over 3 years we have offered free weekly walks,free refreshments and free unforms.We have also raised over £12,000 for the local community.we are right on their doorstep.
Wrong decision!

[North Glasgow Strollers @NGstrollers]

[North Glasgow Strollers @NGstrollers]

@diane_mcne75569 The reason wasn't great, our application wasn't strong enough...
A wee community group that walk every Sunday morning and to offer folk a wee cold or hot roll and a drink.
We are still doing well and will continue to serve the community 👍

[North Glasgow Strollers @NGstrollers]

@mclafferty1 Hello Matt,
We applied for the smaller grant of £2000.
Email today said all applications are assessed against the priorities and criteria and they felt our application wasn't strong enough...
Have a great night

[North Glasgow Strollers @NGstrollers]

@DuncanSmit56514 Thank you for the advice.
And good luck with your charity.
Anything we can do to help please get in touch.

@diane_mcne75569 Thanks dianne,
Means a lot.
It was a community grant and with us being on their doorstep and doing community work we thought we had a great chance of getting something to help us.
Have a great night.
