I came across an interesting theory that made me think.

Back in 2025, @vladtenev posted about the Ouroboros—the snake eating its own tail—a symbol often associated with renewal, transformation and new beginnings.

Fast forward to today…

One of the very first Slippy posts shows a snake shedding its skin, leaving behind what looks like a layer covered in rats.

What if that imagery isn’t random?

What if it symbolizes leaving the old Robinhood behind?

For years, many people associated Robinhood with:

• trading restrictions

• “not your keys”

• distrust after previous market events

What if Robinhood Chain is meant to represent a completely new chapter?

A new financial ecosystem.

A new narrative.

And…

a new mascot.

Not just another token.

A character people associate with Robinhood’s next era instead of its past.

Coincidence?

Maybe.

Intentional symbolism?

Also possible.

If you combine that with:

• Antoine Mingo building an internet-native character brand.

• A stealth launch.

• Months of prepared content.

• Rumors of ecosystem connections.

• Little John launching one of its first meme projects as $SLIPPY.

…the theory becomes even more interesting.

Again…

This is not evidence.

Just another piece of a puzzle that seems to have more and more pieces fitting together.
