Went to the main deck of iconic Tokyo Tower (150 m high) to see the entire city & top off our trip.

Rode the subway into Tokyo this morning, transferring trains twice.

We ended the day with an evening of Karaoke. Tomorrow it's Tokyo Tower and then head to the airport for our flights home.

... and this is 3000 pedestrians crossing at the same time (2 of 2); we experienced it!

Next we went to Shibuya crossing, where the statue of the dog Hachiko stands (basis of the film Hachi: true story -- after his owner died, the dog went to the Shibuya train station daily for 9 years and waited). This what the famous crossing looks like with cars (1 of 2).

Next was Harajuku district with its famous Takeshita street shopping.

At the Meiji shrine we also saw a traditional wedding, and families presenting babies (baptism-like).

Started off the day at the Meiji Shinto shrine, nestled in a park with 100K+ trees, in honor of the emperor.

Dinner had a sushi conveyor belt...

Ended the day with a sushi dinner, night walk, & doing optional face masks.
