Culture is not just one thing. It’s everything. Culture is not static, its dynamic. Everyone on your team creates it and you are creating it each day by what you think, say and do. You can elevate it by what you think, improve it by what you say and make it great by what you do!
It's not easy. It might take longer than you expect. There will be days you question yourself and wonder if it's worth it or if you are on the right path. Trust your gut. Pay your dues. Work hard (and smart) and eventually success will come.

Players: If coaches feel like they have to coach your effort, they’ll most likely move on. There’re so many players who want it that it’s wasted time to push the ones who don’t. When you’re ready to get after it, you just might learn something. The 1st lesson is always work ethic
Culture isn’t just one thing, it’s everything. It’s not just one person. It’s everyone. Everyone on your team creates your culture and your culture drives everything.
Today, focus on the three things you can control. Your ATTITUDE, EFFORT and your ACTIONS. It doesn’t matter what others are doing or who you think is being unfair. Every day you can focus on being positive, working hard and making others around you better.
3 Truths About Leadership:
1. Leadership isn’t about gaining power. It’s about empowering others.
2. Great leaders succeed because they bring out the greatness in others.
3. You don’t have to be great to serve but you have to serve to be a great leader

"Are you on a team for Service or Status? Are you there for playtime time, popularity and prestige or for learning, competing and serving? Sell out to service vs. status. Status is about what you get, service is about what you can give and who you can become." - Kevin Hall
Players: Don’t talk about how much you love the game or how hard you work if you don’t get in the gym & put in purposeful work every day. Coaches know who has a sincere desire to get better & who doesn’t. You won’t need to talk about it. It will be evident in how well you play.
Players: The weight room does a lot more than just build your body. It builds character/mental toughness. It identifies weaknesses & reveals assertiveness. It creates leaders & shows who has drive & those who fake it. Through its grit, it reveals who’ll be successful & who won’t.
When I asked Clemson Coach Dabo Swinney if he was an overachiever he said, "No. I’m an over believer." It's amazing what your team will accomplish when you believe in them. Listen to my interview with Dabo via the Positive University Podcast 👉🏻 https://t.co/rhJwQ3FUlI
While 1 sleeps in another 1 is up early.
While 1 complains another 1 trains.
While 1 gives up another 1 fights on.
WHICH 1 WILL YOU BE?

Players: The most dedicated athletes I come across never talk about how dedicated they are or how hard they work or what they sacrifice. They just show up every single day and give their best. It’s not a hardship; it’s not a chore. They WANT to do whatever it takes to succeed.
