@TeamYouTube YT keeps rejecting my counter notifications. If you're unwilling to step in and do what's right, at least let me fight for fair use & freedom of expression. By preventing me from challenging that strike, you are siding with a company that abuses DMCA laws. #ProtectYourCreators
@YouTube Hello. I am getting blackmailed by an individual that took one of my videos down under false pretenses and is asking for 50$ to remove the strike. Here is the link: https://t.co/bcaH5heUa1. Can you take a look at it? This constitutes an abuse of the copyright ID system
@TeamYouTube There-is-no-"vid's content". The runtime is 100% me talking in front of a camera, something that you could verify in 5 seconds if you wanted. You're essentially asking me to prove I have the rights to my own image, then reject the counter claim when I try. Am I talking to a bot?
@TeamYouTube Even then, I had a lawyer draft a legal document containing all necessary information pertaining to fair use which my video would still fall under EVEN if I had actually infringed someone's copyright. I have MORE than explained why I am within my right yet YT keeps rejecting it.
@TeamYouTube How could it be unclear? My video got taken down by a company claiming I used their content in my video based solely on a thumbnail which happens to be a drawing of an athlete that I MADE. One look at their claim by a human makes it clear they are abusing copyright rights.
@TeamYouTube Every detail required by the counter claim form is provided. Yet, when I submit one (at 2AM, when no one can review) it gets automatically rejected. Your system is barring me from fighting that strike. I contacted the claimant: they want 50$ to remove it. Stop dodging pls & help
@TeamYouTube No details are missing yet YT immediately rejects the counter notification (see pic). I have AMPLE reason for filing one: I got a strike on my channel + a video taken down for using a thumbnail that I DREW. Your system is robbing me of my options: a human needs to look at it pls
@TeamYouTube Your system rejects my counter notifications because the video was taken down by a DMCA complaint; The company that issued it misused your copyright system on purpose to blackmail me. The video was taken down because of its THUMBNAIL, this claim is not valid. Please look into it
@TeamYouTube That's the video that got a strike: https://t.co/t2Fi5wBC5I. Someone took it down because of the thumbnail (?!). I then received an email letting me know they would remove the strike for 50$. I thought you'd be interested to know that your copyright system is used for blackmail.
@TeamYouTube Hello Youtube. A certain company has been issuing copyright ID claims to block my videos. I counterclaimed these false flags and won the copyright counter-notification battle, only for the company to block the video again (breaking YT rules). Can I talk to someone?
@TeamYouTube This is 1 of the videos this company has blocked, that they prevent me from getting back by resubmitting copyright takedowns after I win the counter notification. Unless they have been kicked out of content ID I cannot use the system to get them back & am forced to come to you.
@TeamYouTube Do you have news concerning my channel? I'm still stuck with a strike and 15+ blocked videos, all by companies who openly disregard YT copyright rules and abuse your system to attack / blackmail creators.
@TeamYouTube I have disputed more than 50 erroneous claims. Every time, the company waits a month and systematically rejects them without reading their content. After 2 tries, my channel receives a strike. I contest, only for the company to block the video again. This is why I ask for help.
@TeamYouTube https://t.co/4VEJcULuls The previous situation with the dozen videos blocked is documented earlier in the thread; as far as the company attempting blackmail, they struck my channel because of a THUMBNAIL I used then sent an email asking for money to remove it (I have proof)
@TeamYouTube It's been 3 weeks. This company has kept a dozen of my videos down for half a year, and I'm now being targeted by someone running a blackmail scheme using your copyright system. It takes 5 minutes for them to abuse YT rules and months for creators to get it solved. Expedite pls
@TeamYouTube Any updates? This company has blocked hundreds of videos in the past 3 months. They issue takedown requests without checking the content first, which is against YT rules. Their latest attempt at circumventing the DMCA act proves how little they care about copyright guidelines.
@TeamYouTube One thing to note: by deleting my Google Account, you have deleted every single comment I have ever posted, including timestamps on multiple of my videos. In the future, it would be best to respect due process instead of jumping the shark and permanently erasing months of work.
@TeamYouTube Hello, NH here. My channel got wrongfully terminated with no prior warning or strikes under the guise of explicit content. If I can talk to a human, I can prove that I did not deserve this sanction and that the content I produce is not problematic in the slightest.
