@PapeSyCulture In my opinion, they didn’t do enough. They should’ve just said it was “inspired by WoT” but they chose to market it as if we were getting a WoT movie. Characters are the same, some plot elements are similar, but it’s definitely not all the same
@1998Wens It’s unfortunate that you’re right, but I don’t think that’s a good thing. He should be able to have different suits and lenses without it making people question which version of Spider-Man it is
@PapeSyCulture Because if they didn’t say it was related to WoT in any sort of way, nobody would think it is. It was a major part of the marketing during the early stages of the movie and that creates certain expectations for those who read WoT
@AHeartbreakSky Yeah it was definitely a bit disappointing and sets up some specific and large expectations for people who read comics. There definitely could’ve been some better choices made either way, but it’s still a fun watch and does not deserve the hate it’s getting
@eternalnamor@haalaphrodyke@B00K0FTRIBE …yes so do you think the heat he’s getting right now is related to the movie he’s attached to that’s also receiving hate? Use some critical thinking skills please
