Our Lancaster and Morecambe Youth Council have started a new youth cafe. Looking to provide warm spaces for young people once a month over winter to tackle social isolation and lack of safe space for young people. Free food, drink, games and craft. Please share 🫶

This has been one of the most difficult pieces of news. As a parent of a child the same age. As someone who delivers summer provision and works wih children and young people. Not many things have made me sick to my stomach quite like this has.

I could not be prouder of this achievement. Some of the things we did today had me face some deep rooted fears (cold water). Not to be a giant cheesy wotsit but, you can't hide from things that scare you. You have to go at them head first.

Always a real privilege leading the parade with the band. I found myself getting really emotional towards the end of the parade. This year feels like it's been a particularly difficult year in the LGBTQ community and it felt more important to be loud and proud 🫶
