Never thought about bad days, fatigue, skill gaps, fear, other habits. Recently, I shifted from treating goals as simple task lists to viewing them as behavioral dependency systems.
If we’re calling it “us,” we both need a meaningful say in what that means and what we owe each other. Shared authorship carries shared responsibility. When we help shape a commitment and freely agree to it, we become responsible for honoring it.
But here is a gentle reminder: you do not have to earn your rest. Peace isn't a reward you receive after finishing your to-do list; it is a practice you cultivate in the middle of the noise.
