Aliko Walia, an 8-year-old boy shot during a military operation in Puncak Regency last April, has tragically passed away after 36 days of treatment at RSUD Mulia.

Aliko suffered a severe gunshot wound to his chest during an incident in Tenoti Village that also claimed the life of his mother, Wundilina Tabuni. Despite initial signs of recovery and the best efforts of medical staff, a systemic infection proved too much for the young boy to overcome. He was cremated according to Lani traditions.
