In #revit 2022 and later, if you have a multiline parameter in a label in a tag with other labels. After loading into the project, clicking to fill the multiline line text tool using the tag will copy the text from the other labels. @BIMchiq @rvit
I imagine a meeting somewhere.
Manager - How are we going to notate a line brake in a multiline tooltip.
Programmer - We could use /r/n as that is what it is in most coding languages.
Manager - No. This is what we will use. [Pounds on keyboard] &#xD&#xA. No one will guess that.
Just realized that no one had submitted the idea that #Revit should have the ability to specify the view type when creating 3D Views, and at that rate Drafting Views for consistency between all views under the View section of the Project Browser. https://t.co/gTnTJQairm
Added a new idea on the Revit Idea's page for the old idea of controlling the phase parameter on a view via the view template. Any support would be greatly appreciated. https://t.co/IwyLc7HKOr

#Revit 2021 Added 3 new project units, one of them was Distance. Of course there was no documentation of this. Does anyone know what Distances relates to regarding Revit properties/parameters? What uses this over the Length project units?
@CADD has some great live online training coming up in the next month - Revit, Dynamo, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam - you need it, we've got it! Check out here. https://t.co/KkEaUNErwy

AU2020 Class pages went live today. If you are interested in learning how to get your #Revit models to know a GIS coordinate systems, sign up for Marissa and my class, https://t.co/Rr9KPud7rM. If you like the class recommend it to others.
@a_shilliday@tkunsman We were talking about the tool here. And I agree with determining the coordinate system you are using is very important and we talk about that in our Alias at last presentation this year. The nice thing about Revit is it letโs you change the system without affecting the model.
@tkunsman@thecadgeek If you can get both groups Revit and Civil to use the tool, it does make the process easier. And @BIMchiq and @thecadgeek did a great job showing that in the Match Made in coordinates class. If you don't have access to those, then our course will show you the alternative.
@tkunsman It does make set up the shared coordinates in Revit a lot easier. It just requires an Add-in be installed for both #Revit and #Civil3D. My only recommendation is to un-clip the survey point prior to using the tool. @thecadgeek
@tkunsman@thecadgeek The reason to un-clip the survey point is that it keeps the survey point in the same place relative to the project base point / internal origin. So if before running the tool the 3 points were in the same place, after running the tool they will still be in the same place.
