@FrankDez28895 @AlMysteri Why not though? They're part of the story, reading them helps you understand certain characters a lot better, elevating your reading of the book as a whole. And sandman absolutely takes advantage of the comic medium, like I said look at the 24 hours comic

@DoctorShining The way I kinda interpret that whole fiasco is that John isn't as in control of his emotions as his exterior would lead you to believe. The way that he's written for much of the show almost completely makes him getting with Zoe out of character, which I think is on purpose

@WeirdScienceDC We read the same book? How does he give up, he went from longing to kill himself to escape his trauma and depression to learning to find happiness in life whilst dealing with those things. I feel like you should really reread this book

@WeirdScienceDC He had an entire story planned and then was forced to change around the characters so that they were DC. The characterization and the story is in not on tom king with this book for the most part in all honesty

@kidomaki_real This isn't really all that complicated, it's fairly simple math. Lanterns average 3.1 mil, acolyte 2.2. Even if you assume that the number of streams cuts by half every day (which is typically an exxageration given positive reviews), lanterns still would have more streams lol

@kidomaki_real You truly have no idea how anything works: there is a 2 million difference between the two shows's streaming numbers in 2 days. Lanterns averaged 3.1 mill roughly, acolyte averaged 2.2. Even if assuming exponential negative slope (which isn't as big as you think), lanterns wins

@kidomaki_real 9.1 million in 3 days, 11.1 in 5. I'm not great at math but lanterns accomplished about 75% of what accolyte did in nearly half the amount of time. Once again, you are blatantly wrong and reporting these as facts. lanterns has been a good show so far, critically and financially

@illslimeeyouout Also I'm ngl this honestly just rubs off as you don't read his work: mister miracle, human target, WoT, love everlasting, vision, rorsach (ignoring the lame reuse of watchmen characters), danger street, strange adventures, and the winning card are all at least good- masterpiece
