@Grayson_Wolf_ Conclusion:
This is a gut punch. But it will show the true mettle of this team, one way or another. Either you prove people wrong in these next three series against other wildcard hopefuls, or you drown.
Home against the Blue Jays next. Bounce back.

The Guardians salvage the series finale at home against the Royals, but Cleveland still drops two of three to Kansas City.

I think @Grayson_Wolf_ said it best on his TikTok recapping the series that, when the season is finished and we look back upon everything, the bullpen will be the unit that did us in.
There have been just way too many games where they have simply dropped the ball for you.

Conclusion:
Back over .500 at 68-66. Entrenched in the final wild card spot. And the schedule is still manageable.
A home series against the Royals next, who (woah) have won 9 of their last 10.
Keep. Pushing.

ANOTHER SWEEP! The Cleveland Guardians are winners of their last seven after a three-game sweep in Anaheim.

The only counterpoint to this stretch is that the Guardians really haven't played the highest level of competition.
And I don't care.
One, it's hard to get a winning streak in the MLB, and two, after the way this team looked, I'm celebrating anything and everything.

@VulinecJake The question I keep asking, Jake, is what is Shedeur doing when we can't see that is precluding him from being named the starter.
Something has to be happening, because in my mind, there's no other explanation that's plausible.
