@markrenier4 Once again, the border is not open. It never was. That's a term that Trump and his toadies created. Was it less secure than it should have been? Yes, absolutely. But it was not "open" and it certainly was not deliberate. There was a chance to fix it and the Repubs chose not to.

@markrenier4 Nope. It was the most comprehensive border bill written. It would have given the border agent a lot of money and resources. Trump ordered it killed because he wanted to run on the border issue. His minions obeyed. Republicans don't want to fix the border so it can remain an issue
