@mungaikihanya Wewe wachana na maneno ya katiba. If you think the problem is understanding mathematics, you're misguided. You're not a constitutional lawyer to interpret the katiba. A Constitutional clause is not arithmetic to be interpreted in isolation with the rest of the katiba.
@OkiyaOmtatah But the Form 34A has to be sent to national tallying centre. Rogue elements can send fake forms. So Iebc can receive several different forms supposedly for one polling station. Who will verify the genuine results if not the iebc ? That's the reason for iebc verification.
@kitonyo_john@OkiyaOmtatah@OkiyaOmtatah
Currently the presiding officers reads out the presidential votes at each polling station. I don't understand what's your problem ?
@smutoro@smutoro all countries, without exception, would aspire to be first world countries to ensure high standards of living for citizens... the issue is how to get there. Therefore the need to plan that developmental journey, on how to achieve that goal
@smutoro@smutoro ... You got it wrong, no Vision 2060 was announced. Rather it was a call to start a National discussion for a new development strategy for the country. The discussion is to involve all Kenyans. The country has to set new goals including what was not achieved under V2030
@DavidNdii@DavidNdii that's different from Kenya. The housing levy is not used for the down payment or payment of mortgage by a buyer. The levy disappears into a black hole. The buyer has to raise the down payment separately and pay for the mortgage separately. It's robbery.
@DavidNdii@DavidNdii the difference is that you're building vertical slums in kibera. The kibera blocks will be slums in very short order. There are no amenities, just blocks of concrete, unliveable hovels. The whole kibera should first be properly planned before any construction is done.
@gpdkaluma Please end tribal politics. Why would an mp like you do tribal arithmetic instead of issue based politics? They don't do tribal arithmetic in TZ and UG.
@DavidNdii@DavidNdii I thought domestic consumption and retail is an important contributer to the economy e.g. locally manufactured household items are sold in shops in the CBD. Shops, hotels, restaurants, salons, boutiques, law firms, etc, in the CBD offer employment opportunities.
@DavidNdii@DavidNdii then why do we have massive vehicle traffic going into the CBDs of the biggest cities of the world like London, NY, Chicago, Shanghai, Delhi, etc every morning where there is no "producion/value addition" ?
@NelsonHavi@NelsonHavi I thought being a "learned friend" you would have a better understanding of English language: Total cases = pending cases + newly filed cases. So the courts can clear more cases than those filed during the year. Nothing peculiar.
@davis_chirchir@davis_chirchir why not do something about establishing efficient mass rapid transit systems for Nairobi instead of only concentrating on airports and airplanes only used by the elite ?
@smutoro@smutoro why do you celebrate? ruto was not going to be riding on that train. The railway would have eased travelling for the residents of Ngong and Nairobi by avoiding congested roads and reducing costs. Wanjiku is the big loser.
@DavidNdii@DavidNdii Sh330 billion wagered on rigged stakes is equivalent to the sh330 billion which has set up a national infrastructure fund. How then can you dismiss the gambled amount so casually? Disingenuous to allocate it on per capita basis, some bet and lose tens of thousands.
