Got a little lucky against Cycle Storm and Tron but the rest were decent/good matchups. I'll update the guide one day...

Won the pauper challenge with Gardens today! 🥳 8-1 overall, 57 players.

Tried Unmake as an extra out for Guardian in Gates. Never came up but I like it for now.

@vichrocha I've seen it but I'm not a huge fan. You still have to kill their threats, and sometimes three mana is asking a lot in the midgame when you're trying to keep up

@ASyedAppears I don't hate that. The problem is if they play Bitter Reunion and give Guardian haste I have literally no way to survive. I thought about a Moment's Peace in the board too but it's a little too niche right now

@marx_kyle Right now I'd probably try +3 Ouphe, +1 Drown, +1 Macabre, -2 Campfire, -1 Wildling, -1 Lembas, -1 Spinning Darkness. If you know they're not playing Reunion you could cut down on Ouphe

@marx_kyle I would not bring in Duress, leave in in Spellbombs and max on Drown in Sorrow and Ouphe. Ouphe is basically just to hit Reunion in versions that play it, but it can take out a Moxite or token too.

@marx_kyle Similar to Caw-Gates, save edicts for Guardian when possible. The problem is Bitter Reunion giving haste and not having an instant-speed answer. Game one try to gain enough life to survive a hit. I could see playing an Unmake if the deck gets more popular.

6-3 in the Pauper super Q w/ Gardens. 2-0 against Bow, one gates + one Temur.

I still don't think the combo is broken or needs to get banned, the meta is adapting and this format could really use some more diversity. If anything gets banned I hope it's Snacker at the very least.

@GavinVerhey The combo is powerful, but is even better with multiple angles of attack your opponent has to respond to, like Snackers and gates. It feels fine and the meta will adjust. If anything gets banned, I hope it's Snacker. A two card combo that needs an X/1 is fine

I'd definitely play it against GR but the big issue there is Hunter and trying to play catchup when you don't have the initiative. If GR gets huge I could see playing some

Fungal Infection was incredible, I almost want a second one with Elves this popular. Gardens is great right now, just avoid Rally Red and the GR piles 👍
