@BenGrahamUK The UK refineries wete built in the 60s and 70s when most cars, lorries and vans were using petrol. We produce excess petrol and export it, but we rely on importing 50% of our diesel. So whether we get more crude oil from the North Sea is irrelevant the issue is refining capacity
