Excited to announce that I am now a PARTNER on @FacebookGaming . HUGE thank you to my community for supporting me and helping me grow! Together we have reached goals and continue to progress. Feeling blessed to be a part of this platform. I'm ready for what's next! ππ₯ππ―
It felt fresh. Of course it can be overwhelming at first learning it all but that's a good thing. It makes me optimistic about Fortnite's ZB future to see people trying things. Obviously there are bugs which hopefully get patched. My only concern is this question...."How does this help the average casual gamer compete for not only fun but wins" . Us content creators and streamers are one channel but a vast majority fit into a different category. A change in SBMM ESPECIALLY in team based modes beyond solos is really needed. I've had so many community members upset that they come home after a hard day's of work to enjoy gaming and feel Fortnite has pushed them away with how hard it is for them. FWIW....we used to consistently win 65-75% of squad games per season. Now around 26%. I'm not saying we need to win like before but can we adjust it so it takes into consideration the whole makeup of the team and then have it adjust slightly towards the strongest player. Thank you. π
I have strong feelings on this topic but feel like I'm wasting my time even bringing it up. I think it becomes exhausting for most people on both sides because everything feels so stagnant. It has become such a norm that is almost accepted for most but at the end of the day it's still so unethical and immoral.
Maybe you've seen me and maybe you haven't but I'm proud of what I've built in my little corner of the streaming world. These days I don't get as much stream time as I used to but as a dad, husband, and sports coach that does his best to do things the right way, it's so infuriating seeing people blatantly bot and make out like rich thieves. As long as I pay my bills and can support my family, I just mind my own business but it's just flat out ridiculous sometimes.
As a former Facebook Partner, seeing streamers that had like 15-20 viewers over there for YEARS showing 250-300 "viewers" on Kick with like 5-7 people talking is comical. Then whenever they post on any social media they literally get ZERO engagement (less than 5 likes) . These people even legit STEAL viral clips from others and repost them daily. They don't even make an effort to make it their own with inspiration to make something themselves. Garbage type of people.
I enjoy Kick and I have had a pretty positive experience for the most part in the few years that I've been using it. I hope more good things are to come for the platform. Please consider making an example out of more of these bad apples. Please and thank you!
π thanks for working on it. We need to see it more. It's disheartening seeing streams with hundreds if not thousands of "viewers" with not even 5 chatters. They should lose KPP instead of benefitting huge earnings every day. Sure some people have huge lurk followings and thats fine. They've built it. There should be a way to report people and then staff reviews them. π€·
