How I’m using Palantir AIP to plan and manage my DIY home renovation.
Since we moved in 2021, barely a moment of my free time has been spent on anything other than our renovation. We’re three years into our twenty-ish year project - there’s a lot to do! I was struggling to find a tool that fit our unique needs, that we could use to track all our projects, tasks, materials etc and gave me the flexibility to tailor it to fit the way I want to use it rather than needing to change my “operations” to fit the tool. So I decided to DIY my project tracker using my personal AIP environment!

@Wickes I’m missing some of an order that was delivered on Wednesday. Is there anyone who help me out on here I’ve been on hold to customer services for ages…
Webchat told me to phone. Phone told me to check online. Online there’s nothing to check.
I did eventually get through to someone on the phone earlier who spoke to the “repayment team” who “didn’t have an answer”. I was then cut off. I guess I’ll have to write the letter. I suppose a number for the repayments team is too much to hope for?
Hey @HMRCcustomers I'm trying to get a self assessment refund that I requested ~a year ago (no update). Your advisor on chat told me to phone & your automated phone system just sends me a text with a link to check when i "should" have been paid 🙄. Where should I go next?!
@HMRCcustomers 🤦That's a bit vague...what should I include in that letter - UTR, DOB, a short description of my cat? (lets gloss over the utter lunacy of the fact that I need to send an actual letter for this)
@HMRCcustomers It takes me to the page where I can request a repayment &shows me that the full amount is still listed under "Payments/credits not yet used".
@HMRCcustomers Under "view account" it just says "you have overpaid" with the amount and a link to the page where I can request a repayment. Under view statements it says "You do not have any statement information to view."

@VirginAtlantic Still no update on the web/app. As the plane is yet to leave on it’s proceeding flight for Montego Bay from Nassau I’m assuming there is going to be a delay and we won’t be taking off at 20:20 from Nassau?
@VirginAtlantic I got a text this morning saying my flight (VS108) has been delayed - arrival in LHR looks to be about 1hr 30mins late, but there’s no change to the departure time? Possibly because NAS is a short stopover? Can you confirm what the new departure time from NAS is?
@McDonaldsUK lunch on a Saturday seems an odd time for two of your employees to take a whole table to store their laptop. Just limits the toddler friendly seating options.
@AdmiralUK Can I add NCB part way though a policy? I had get a new vehicle & insure with you before I was able to sell & cease insuring my old one. Can I port the NCB from the now cancelled policy from my old car to my new(ish) policy with you?
