Thanks to everyone who supported me in the recent NEC elections - I reached stage 17 of the 20. among the best of the non-list candidates, alongside my friend Adam Davies who also stood outside the blocs. Onwards and upwards! https://t.co/Z1TKhIIMQe
@katbessTHFC@WantDidWall24 Apologies for the lack of reply - I was off work after a stroke. Obviously the election has passed and we have a LIbDem MP - we'll see what he's like in practice!
Tactical voting sites have no right to affect politics without all the facts.
In #Didcot and #Wantage they ignore the boundary change and base it off the old #Wantage constituency where net 15,000 rural voters are now in Witney seat.
@WantDidWall24 The guy who tried to rant at the end was incomprehensible, perhaps fortunately for whatever view he was expressing. There were about 150 people there, of whom I think about 100 had come to cheer on their preferred speaker, and 50 were genuinely open-minded.
@OllyGloverLD See https://t.co/Tt9hXHzEPd for a very different view showing Labour with the best chance here. The basic LibDem problem is that they'venot progressed since 2019.
🌹We are delighted to announce that Mocky Khan has been selected as the Parliamentary Candidate for Didcot & Wantage in the general election.
Mocky is local and will always put people first.
His statement is below 👇

@bowyerp https://t.co/ZzFcoUxfdo feels about right - any of the parties *might* win but Labour has the edge. You'd be most welcome to help - there is of course a danger that the Tories slip through the middle if some Lab-leaning voters go LD.
@bowyerp Yes, I know. I do try (as Labour Chair in D&W) to be honest - we believe that we are somewhat ahead but there are lots of floating anti-Con voters. We don't feel the LDs are being honest when they use old stats to claim Labour has no chance.
