May was the most challenging month of my life. We came close to losing a loved one and were hit with serious medical bills. Grateful we made it through and hoping the worst is behind us. Here’s to better days ahead and a stronger rest of the year.
#TheLastOfUsSeason2 is following Part II with some smart changes. It’s giving us what The Long Night should’ve in Game of Thrones—the infected feel smarter, the tension is real, and they improved how Abby learns Joel’s name. The emotional devastation still hits just like the game.
They’ve kept Abby deeply unlikeable (I loathe her). I don’t think there’s any version where they’ll convince people otherwise—it didn’t work in the game, and I doubt it will in the show. This is the show’s biggest test. The game tried to get me to empathize with her, and while I kinda did… the loathing was just too strong. I still didn’t care.
Gura was one of my first favorites when I got into vtubers and hololive, and I never missed one of her streams. I want her to stay for selfish reasons, but as a chumbud, more than anything, I just want her to be happy. Godspeed Gooba o7
@Tuesdaysnopes The Bill episode took that section of the game and made it a masterpiece sub plot. I think not having the player take such a drastic perspective switch after a massively traumatic moment will make a difference.
Starting Season 2 of The Last of Us and I’m seriously curious how they’re going to handle Part II. I didn’t like Part II nearly as much as Part I, but it’s still a good story. Could actually be adapted better than how it played out in the game.
