@MattHancock Ok, so please (1) find the infectious people amongst the 66 million of us and (2) support them to isolate for 10 days to break the chain of transmission
@WheelerSimon @stuartjdneil A risk is that uni students decide to go home before any circuit breaker. This could fuel transmission, contrary to purpose of circuit breaker.
Women's snowboarding is a form of fine art - so it's about time someone made a book about it. Find out a little more from photographer Jérôme Tanon and @SierraNevada athlete @RobinVanGyn to hear why this project is so important for the sport.

This virus is not happening in a vacuum where no information existed previously
On Immunity, On testing, On serology, On transmission, On masks, On treatments...
We must stop this narrative that we know nothing of this virus until we learn it anew - again.

@PennyPullan@CarrDutton @CathNoakes I hope people will be sensible and continue best practice and that local public health and our fab labs will rescue us, despite government. Please!
@katymeturner @alixdietzel A great point, flagged earlier today by @alanmcn1, but if there is a circuitbreak, students may decide to head home before circuitbreak starts. Better for the unis to support students (nicely) to stay at uni maybe?

@PennyPullan@CarrDutton @CathNoakes Exactly. We can do it (maybe bit by bit) for example Isle of Wight (142k), NI (1.8m), Wales (3.1m), Scotland (5.3m). Q is, in practice, can we have circuit break and achieve it in any/all of these? NZ (4.8m) and Singapore (5.7m) have done it. If we fail in Isle of Wight ...

@MartinThePracEd@AlistairHaimes@doctor_oxford Ok, but what happens after 2 weeks if we still can't either (1) find infectious people amongst the 66 million of us or (2) support those people to isolate? We will be back to square 1 again.
@florian_krammer@SGriffin_Lab Well done Singapore. From friends there I know it has been tough. By way of comparison (sorry, I know I shouldn't) has the UK managed to achieve the same status on the Isle of Wight?
This is how #superspreading happens: in spin class, during normal activities, when you don’t expect it, and when people aren’t following simple, needed steps. #MaskUp
