@JavierJMorales It was very loud. At points, louder than Phog was two weeks ago, having been at both games.
But what UA does that’s awful - the stupid sponsorship gimmicks during timeouts. It kills all momentum. Fans relax and sit down. It gets quiet. Then we have to work our way back up.
@ArizonaDOT Is it still moving around the crash or is it a complete standstill? Any idea when it will be clear will it be before the 8 o’clock closure?
@Cap_Kaveman Hell yes! Good for the kid. Not unlike Seth Beer’s national Beer Day bomb, here’s to hoping he starts the season by setting the league…ABLAZE. (It’s terrible, I know. But I couldn’t resist.)
@JesseNFriedman where can I find a schedule for Dbacks practice tomorrow so I know what time to go out to the fields? Do they start at the same time daily?
@JeffPassan I appreciate you TRYING to feign respect for the @dbacks, and you almost fooled us. But you called Moreno Romero in the para re T5. “…and score on a Romero single, giving Arizona a 3-2 advantage.“
@Frazier_33@JesseNFriedman Agree. But if McCarthy did too, it’s his ball. My point is that’s a play that takes practice, and it’s different as a 2B than a shortstop. Different timing, spin on the ball, RF coming from a different angle than CF.
@sh0w_must_g0_0n@JesseNFriedman Agreed, my point is that he has so little experience there, he doesn’t know what to expect. A guy coming in from RF gets there a lot sooner than a CF so a SS has more room ranging back. Marte & Rojas have worked on that more. Also, if McCarthy is calling for it, it’s his ball.
@Cap_Kaveman I was screaming when, after 3 straight walks and 4 straight balls, and with the bases loaded Ahmed swung 2-0 (and at an awful strike 3) to help Hoffmann. Terrible awareness. Gave the Phils life, and then they score 3 in the bottom half.
