Fireable Offenses by Brandon Beane:
Drafting Kair Elam
Drafting Max Hairston
Putting the claim on Darius Slay
Bad judgement calls:
Trusting Ed Oliver to anchor the defense
Von Miller Contract
Joey Bosa
Dalton Kincaid
The evidence is overwhelming, Beane CANNOT build a championship roster.
To be clear:
Allen hitting Diggs in the hands in the 2024 divisional was not him failing to be clutch.
Hitting Kincaid in the hands in the 2025 AFCCG was not either.
Hitting Cooks in the hands was not either.
Allen’s INT yesterday WAS him failing to be clutch.
Jim Leonhard with a quote of the day: "It's always harder to communicate (on defense) at home than it is on the road. If we complain about that, we are assholes."
Here's where I am at.
I'm annoyed with the offense.
I'm scared about the defense.
I'm mostly confident the offense will figure it out, because of the track record of the players/coaches on that side of the ball.
I'm not sure this defense is fixable.
It completely eliminates any chance you have at a 2 for 1 with scoring to end 1st half. Which the Bills did today. Then scoring again on the opening drive of the 2nd half. I haven’t had any issues with Brady’s 4th down game management but taking the ball first to me is so stupid.
#Patriots QB Drake Maye since the start of last year’s playoffs — all 7 games against playoff teams:

@cursoryapplause@MySportsUpdate the 13 seconds game had touchbacks coming out to the 25. dallas just ran the sequel with ten extra yards of punishment tacked on
