@DanPriceSeattle @AOC Yes. Single mom of two here. $50k certainly is barely covering rent (we share a home with another) and the dramatically increased child care costs now that schools are closed.

@AITA_reddit As a vegetarian who somehow doesn’t ever seem to date other veggies (like seriously where are you?!) I always say that if I am making a meal it’s what I can eat. I think OP is being completely reasonable- cook for your own tastes and then the other person cooks for theirs.
