Pastors, it��s time to stop confusing Christ’s call to love your enemies with an excuse to avoid confronting cultural evil. Jesus taught us to love personally, but He also calls us to defend truth publicly. In your role as shepherds, you are not just private men showing mercy—you are public figures tasked with upholding righteousness. Silence in the face of falsehood is not love; it’s surrender (John 10:12-13).

We live in a time when truth is under relentless attack. Marriage, gender, life itself are being redefined by the culture, and too many pastors are content to remain quiet, believing that “turning the other cheek” (Matthew 5:39) means avoiding confrontation. But Paul didn’t shy away from challenging the culture of his time. He confronted false teachers boldly (Acts 17:16-17), and you must do the same today. This isn’t about politics; it’s about the gospel impacting every area of life.

Scripture commands you to "preach the word" and "reprove, rebuke, and exhort" (2 Timothy 4:2). You are the shepherds of God’s people, and that means defending them from wolves—whether those wolves come as ideologies or movements that seek to undermine the truth of God (Titus 1:9). The public square is where you must speak, for the future of the church and the culture depends on it.

We need strong, unapologetic preaching that addresses sin in the individual and in society. Stand firm, pastors, and do not shrink from your duty to proclaim God’s truth in love and courage (Ephesians 6:19-20).
