Scientists on SARDI research vessel have discovered thousands of sleepy Port Jackson sharks blanketing the seafloor in deep (65m+) waters of the Bass Straight. Captured by a ROV, researchers noted that the gathering appeared to be exclusively female.

📢 New paper!
We reconstructed 4000 years of historical vegetation using #eDNA targeted capture and #isotopes.
We found an #ecosystem shift happened 1000 years ago when the #seagrass environment changed to intertidal #mangroves.
