she bleeped it because she doesn't want to brag but she gave nearly a million dollars to every person who worked with her on the eras tour, giving out nearly $200 million in bonuses aka 1/5 of her net worth.
some crew members spoke out right after the tour ended to say most artists don't give out bonuses, and if they do, it's maybe $10k max. she gave above and beyond what was expected of her.
sorry to sound like a bootlicker but how many billionaires (or even millionaires tbh) do you know apart from taylor swift and mackenzie scott who are actually generous with their wealth?
wasn’t going to pay the discourse about the doc any mind but one topic I will chime in on is publicizing the bonuses she gave her team.
that’s an example of her doing exactly what y’all claim she should be doing with her wealth/platform but y’all don’t want good y’all want hate

I'm beginning to think it isn't about having compassion for the wrong people, it's about having compassion at all.
Antonio Gramsci (born today 22 Jan 1891, died 1937 imprisoned in fascist Italy): "I hate the indifferent. I believe that living means taking sides. Those who really live cannot help being a citizen and a partisan."
If your Christianity causes you to be offended by someone asking the most powerful person in the country to be merciful towards the powerless, then you have deeply, deeply misunderstood the teachings of Jesus Christ.
